With a population of over 101,000 and a work force of over 80,000...Everett continues to strive.  Everett is located approximately 25-miles north of Seattle in the County of Snohomish.  This once mill town has entered into other industries such as aerospace and technology.  Some of Everett's larger employers are Kimberly Clark, Boeing, the US Navy, Verizon, and Fluke Industries.

Everett offers many varying options to entertain you and keep you active.  The Comcast Arena in downtown Everett is home to the Everett Silvertips, part of the Western Hockey League, and the Everett Hawks arena football team.  You can also enjoy Class A minor league baseball, as the Everett Aqausox make their home here as well (an affiliate of the Seattle Mariners).

You can also find multiple golf courses, many walking trails, and over 40-parks in the city.  With one of the largest marinas on the west coast, boating and fishing are big with residents, and the city is just a short drive away to area mountains, hiking trails, lakes, and snow sports.

Transportation is made easy for Everett residents through several different options.  The I-5 freeway runs through the heart of Everett and spans the city's entire legnth from North to South.  Everett Station, in North Everett, offers many different bus routes and the Sounder Commuter train runs with direct routes to downtown Seattle and points in between.  Amtrak also arrives and departs from the Everett Station with routes throughout the northwest and beyond.  Mukilteo, a neighboring city, is home to the Washington State Ferry System.

There are also a few museums to take advantage of such as the Imagine Children's Museum and Boeing's new Museum of Flight.  The Everett Performing Arts Center offers several shows throughout the year for stage enthusiasts.
